Pick your metal.

Italian 925 sterling silver at 3.5mm, or solid 14k gold at 2.7mm. Both in 16, 18, and 20 inch lengths.

Is it real?

Yes. Everything we sell is real 925 sterling silver or solid 14k gold, and every piece is stamped so you can check it yourself. Ask us about anything on the site and we'll tell you exactly what the metal is. That's the whole reason we started doing this nobody was answering the question.

What does 925 mean?

925 means the piece is 92.5% pure silver, mixed with a small amount of other metal to make it strong enough to actually wear. Pure silver is too soft on its own. It isn't a brand, it isn't a grade, and it isn't a marketing word. It's a number that tells you what's in your hand.

Is your 14k gold solid, or is it plated?

Solid. Our 14k gold is 58.5% pure gold all the way through, stamped 14k. Gold plated and gold filled are real materials with a real place plenty of people are happier in a plated piece they wear every day than a solid one they're scared to leave the house in. They just aren't the same thing, and you should know which one you're buying. Ours is solid, and it's priced by weight, so we publish the gram weight and you can check the math yourself.

What does diamond cut mean?

It isn't diamonds. It's a cutting technique small flat facets cut into the surface of the metal so light reflects off multiple angles instead of getting absorbed. Put a diamond cut chain next to a plain one of the same width and the difference is obvious. One reads bright, the other reads soft.

What length should I get?

18 and 20 are the safest choices, and it really comes down to where you want the chain to land. 18 inches sits closer to the neck, just below the collarbone. 20 inches sits lower, toward the top of the chest, and it's the better layering length. 16 inches sits high enough that most people would call it a choker a great look if that's what you're after, but not the one to pick if you're unsure.
